Ceramic blades are tough to sharpen correctly due to chipping etc, especially if you let them dull over a long time before addressing the edge. While these did the job, they wore out/down quickly. They worked well at first but after the first 5-6 knives they took far longer each time and now dont really sharpen at all.

I purchased the Diamond Belt kit to sharpen some ceramic knives, and it worked like a charm! I have a couple of inexpensive ceramic knives that worked well but were never quite as sharp as I thought they should be. The smaller paring knife had some small nicks in the cutting edge and was starting to get dull. The paring knife was never very sharp but my wife likes it. I used the coarse belt, which took all the nicks out of the cutting edge, then I switched over to the fine belt. When I was finished this little knife would shave hair, and was much sharper than when it was new, a month later and it will still shave. The small chef's knife was almost new, but not sharp enough. one pass on the coarse belt and a couple of passes on the fine belt took the blade to razor sharp. If you are concerned about the price and wonder if they work, don't worry they work great.
