These are by far the best pastels I've ever used. Really easy to work with and give fantastic results. They're loaded with pigment, so you're not having to apply endless layers. But they blend really easily, so you have lots of control. The Artists' selections like this Les Darlow Landscape set include a very well thought-out choice of colours and shades, so you can be producing excellent pictures very quickly.
