This hammer is ideal if you are trying to manipulate wood, mdf, plastic, and most materials that may bruise, damage or distort when using a standard metal hammer. I personally use it for glazing timber doors and assembling timber/mdf frames and find it ideal. It is also lighter than many other hammers, so sits light on your tool belt. If you're a joiner it's a must.
