This Ordnance Survey map covers the island of North Harris in the Outer Hebrides, from the ferry port at Tarbert north to the link with South Lewis. Its eastern portion includes Loch Seaforth; the western portion reaches the isle of Scarp and the salt water Loch Reasort. Of note, the map includes the approaches to An Cliseam, the highest point in the Outer Hebrides at just under 800 meters. It also includes the A859 that connects Tarbert to South Lewis. The map is absolutely essential to walking, hiking, biking and driving in North Harris.This Ordnance Survey Explorer map offers a user-friendly 1:25,000 scale and a mobile download. The map is printed on one side only. The graphics are clear and easy to read. Although it comes pre-folded with a plasticized cover, it is a paper map requiring some care in the highly variable and often wet weather found in the Outer Hebrides. Well recommended to the enterprising traveler.
