I like that this container has two receptacle areas for water because I can use one side to rinse my brush and then the other side to wet my brush in clean water. I could use just a rinse water with other household items that hold water but I like that this one fits in the small area where I paint and it won't easily tip over. In fact, even my cat hasn't made it tip. I also have two Meeden ceramic palettes that are very simple. I like that these items are fairly small, nice looking, and very well made. They're also very easy to clean.

Well designed, very sturdy and good value. The divided design is great for ensuring that one water source is kept clean. The ceramic material and the rectangular base makes it very stable – you'd have to really try to knock this one over. And while you might want a bigger water pot for really large work, this is a good size for working up to A3 size.

Die Töpfchen sind praktisch, immer gleich zwei zum Ausspülen der Pinsel. Durch das Gewicht und die Form standfest, was mir wichtig war (zwei Kater). Nachteil: in den Ecken am Boden setzt sich immer Farbe ab, bei runden Gefäßen entfällt das.

Ottimo recipiente in ceramica per l'acqua. E' un monoblocco con due vaschette capienti, ed ognuna può contenere fino a due bicchieri di acqua. Molto utile averne sempre uno di acqua pulita a disposizione, oltre al fatto che va bene anche per pennelli grandi. Ho acquistato altri prodotti Meeden e fino ad ora mi sono sempre trovata molto bene. Consiglio l'acquisto.

We are now returning the 2nd leaking!! (we had 3). Only one isn't leaking from the 3, despite a hairline crack is again visable. The design is lovely, the leaking makes 66% of the units sofar unusable, very pity. Waiting for a response from Amazon before ordering another replacement (could be transport issue?)

Ich war anfangs begeistert, da es ein praktischer und hübscher, schlichter Doppel–Wasserbecher für die (Aquarell–)Malerei ist.Aber nachdem ich über Nacht das Wasser im Becher ließ und am nächsten Morgen alle meine Bücher, die daneben auf dem Tisch lagen, durchnässt waren, wich die Freude dem Groll.Es sind keine sichtbaren Risse erkennbar, trotzdem verliert der linke Becher gut 50 ml Wasser in zwölf Stunden.Nachtrag: Wahrscheinlich durch den Versand verursacht, hat sich ein kleiner Haarriss gebildet. Reklamation und Austausch ging problemlos und zügig.Seitdem keine Beanstung mehr.Schöner Doppelbecher mit gutem Eigengewicht. Sinnvoll ist es, kleine Gumminoppen unter die Keramik anzubringen, um ein Verkratzen der Möbel zu vermeiden.

Years ago I had the chance to purchase a similar but much smaller dual brush cleaning vessel from Japan that I really love to use on a regular basis. I was delighted to find that Medeen offer this item. Unfortunately I found that there was a faint crack on the left side of the container that caused a little leakage. I contacted Medeen who very kindly offered me a replacement, therefore I will give a full rating to show my appreciation. I've always been very happy with all items (porcelain and metal palettes) provided by Medeen, and highly recommend them as a very good value for money option.
