Paint will stain plastic slightly. Works well keep paint wet and usable. Quality okay. Seal appears to work. Hinges for lock the weal link of product. Hopefully wont crack quickly.

Great product. Like it for 2 reasons. 1) keeps my paint fresh for simply ages. 2) when you decide to change your palette colours simply let the old colours dry and peel or scrape them off. Best reasons to buy this product.

I paint using mostly fluid acrylics and I usually add quite a bit of glaze to them for layers, and while I knew this palette was better suited to heavy body (so they thicken when dry and peel right off), I decided I would just purchase it and see how it might work for lighter body paints.As far as keeping the paints wet- it did an okay job. The first time I used it, I didn't spray down my paints with water before I closed the lid (overnight) and the next day the paints were still moist, but they needed a spitz of water to get them workable again. Because the palette really us non-stick, you can use a paintbrush and a little fresh paint/water/glazing fluid to get the paint into liquid state again. I don't think, however, that a tiny amount of a fluid acrylic would last more than 24 hours in the container (sealed) without really drying out.For heavy body acrylics, I had a little bit of dry out, but not like the fluids. The more paint you use, obviously, the better and longer it will keep in this palette.As far as clean-up, I think it was a success. The heavy body paint peeled off as promised, and I was surprised when the lighter body paints also cleaned up *fairy* easily. Usually a dried, diluted fluid acrylic doesn't come off anything without a ton of scraping, but what I did was add some warm water with a few drops of shampoo and let the palette soak for a little bit, and then I was able to swish out most of the paint using my fingers. I did have to scrape a bit of residue off after the palette was dry, and there's still flakes of dried fluid acrylic on it, but that's really the best "clean-up" I've ever had with any palette (non-stick or otherwise) and diluted fluid acrylics.So, I would recommend this palette- just know that the lighter body paints you use, the less time it will keep them wet, and the harder clean-up will be. But for heavy body paints, it's wonderful.
