This is such a great solution for a cramped area. I mounted mine on 2x8 horizontal blocking between 2 stud bays in a small unfinished part of my basement. It feels extremely sturdy installed like this and easily supports the weight of a full length 2U server.My only concern would be if the rack ears on the server itself are designed to handle this sort of load. Unfortunately mine has rails that can’t possibly work vertically. That makes it a little sketchy but seems fine so far. That’s really just a consequence of mounting vertically, not at all the fault of the rack, but definitely something to consider.

I used this to wall mount two rack mountable Dell servers. The servers now take little space. The metal is thick and durable. It comes with what you need to be able to mount them.

I bought this product for my old property where I needed to hang a server on a wall due to space constraints.I purchased 2 of this item so that I could mount the server horizontally opposed to vertically (better airflow as the fans are not reversable on the server I had).They were strong and worked well. If installing against drywall I suggest Grip-IT TV mounts, as each mount in that kit equals the total weight limit of each of these units (and you get 4 in a box).if drilling into wall ensure you use decent plugs, other than that these are exactly as advertised.

Attaccata a parete di cartongesso, supporta un patch panel da 24 porte ed uno switch rack 19" sempre da 24 porte. Tutto ok.

Wirkt zuerst etwas klapprig. Nach Montage von 3 Brennenstuhl Steckdosenleisten (haben gerade noch hineingepasst, da zusammen mehr als 4HE) ist das Ganze aber sehr stabil.

Das ist nun das zweite 19" Panel, das ich montiere.Und wieder sind Unterlegscheiben, Schrauben von minderer Qualität.Insbesondere die Schwerlastdübel sind Mist, nach dem Einschlagen verkanten sich die Schrauben im Dübel nicht richtig, so dass 3/4 Schrauben sich mitdrehen und die Hülsen sich in der Wand nicht spreizen.

Habe mit dem Rack ein 19" Gerät bei einem Bekannten an der Wand befestigt, da ein Schrank für nur ein Gerät etwas übertrieben gewesen wäre. Die Halterung ist stabil und schnell anzubauen. Bei meinem Modell war die Wasserwaage schief, aber ich hatte eh eine richtige vor Ort. Schön wäre auch eine Bohrschablone gewesen, aber insgesamt macht das Rack einen top Eindruck. Würde es wieder kaufen.
