So after attending two wedding fairs and a goth wedding fair recently I have seeen ALOT of these headbands of various styles and looks. The majority of these reviews claim its very expensive but if you want Claires accessories prices then go there to buy similar. I actually think this has loads of lovely detail and it's really very pretty and feminine. It is exactly as the images look. If it was displayed on a mannequin at a fair it would have 50 plus on it and someone claiming it Was hand made. Yes it could be cheaper but I was actually awed at the prettiness of it when I opened it and only realised the price later. 12 would be a better price point for amazon maybe but I truly believe this is based on where you're being sold it rather than the product itself. It's light weight which is also a positive as some of these things are incredibly heavy and hard work to keep on, this won't make you fatigue! I like it so sorry if I seem contrary!

The price of this product for what you receive is an absolute disgrace, 20 odd quid for a cheap steel hairband wrapped in cable ties and badly spray painted with a few gems and cheap foam seashells glued on, it's barely worth 2 quid. Shame on the seller for ripping people off like that.

I like this is lightweight and easy to wear, it looks good on, the colours are mermaid themed, and the shells and jewels do compliment each other, it would be fine for dressing up, I think it’s quite light and made of flimsy thin plastic like cable ties in parts for £19 I think it’s expensive for what it is.
