Dieser leichte, handliche Sappie eignet sich hervorragend um kleinere Baumstämme und Holzstücke aufzunehmen und zu bewegen. Der Kopf aus geschmiedeten Stahl und die scharf geschliffene Spitze sorgen für ein perfektes Ergebnis. Griff teilweise in Signalorange für gute Sichtbarkeit.

After using this for one night I was hooked and needed one for both hands. The size is similar to a framing hammer and swings very nicely. Moving wood two handed is much more balanced for me than the old hookaroon in the woodshed. The tip bites into wood easily yet comes right out with a push down. Longer hookaroons seem safer though. The husqvarna model is 15 inches and when you get a bad hit, deflection is close to your body. It would be very easy to stick this into your leg, same goes for playing with hatchets. Anyway the risk is a trade off for the 30% faster firewood production. I don’t recommend this for kids or anyone that isn’t proficient with hammers or hatchets.

This is a well-made tool and should last a lifetime. I saw some negative reviews on the shape of the curve on the pick . On my first few tries, I was not sure I liked the shape but after a while, I find the shape perfect for grabbing and holding without the need to strike the wood very hard masking extraction very easy!

I got a chance to put it to use and it sure does save your hand and fingers from getting injured . We will start getting wood ready for next burning season in sept. which we handle upwards of 12 cords between my brother and myself , so we really needed a tool like this with a good handle and stainless head . We are both retired master pipe fitters and welders so we know good tools .Thank You , J.R. & A.J. evans

If you work with timber or have the requirement to move large rounds onto the splitter then this is the one hand tool you simply cannot live without. Get one, your shoulders and back will love you. Highly recommended.

Ich habe im Augenblick bei der Holzernte meinen Ochsenkopf Stahlsappie verloren.Als Ersatz habe ich mir einen Alu Sappie bestellt. Ausgepackt ab ins Holz und enttäuscht.Der ging einfach nicht ins Holz. Umtausch bei Amazon reibungslos, der neue Husqvarna 38 cm Sappie macht genau das was er soll. Er geht super ins Holz und kann jedem der Brennholz macht nur empfehlen sich einen aus Stahl geschmiedeten Sappie zu kaufen, wenn man seinen Rücken schonen möchte.
