My first order, i got a 5-rib belt that was 42” long, because I was mislead to believe that was the drive belt for my Escalade. Turns out it’s these 6-rib belts. I was in the search for an OEM quality belt that’s roughly an inch shorter, because I am running an aftermarket alternator with a smaller pulley and have been noticing some belt slippage at higher RPM. This belt was almost perfect, but it’s a half inch too short for my tensioner. GoodYear let me send it back and exchange it for a 92.5” belt instead. I only had to pay $1.11 for the price difference. This one fit like a tight glove. Feels very good quality. Although I didn’t run the engine because the glove was a too tight and my tensioner didn’t have any give left to it. Looking forward to installing and testing the slightly longer belt arriving tomorrow.

My engine is custom with underdrive pulleys. Needed a shorter than stock belt. This one worked but a little short. Next time I'll get a 92-7/8" belt.

Drove coast-to-coast after installing it. No issues. I trust Goodyear tires so I figured they should know how to manufacture a quality serpentine belt. I avoided chain auto store brands because, IMHO, they provide lesser quality products at the same price, or more, as name brands these days.
