The steel is nice and solid and gives a good grip for springing a boathook in, and holds it really firmly.The screw holes are well paced for fixing it. I've ordered a few more as I think they will be very useful for other things too.

This clamp will grip on to oval or cylindrical objects placed within the jaws. The clamping range is 25 to 30mm according to my testing, so if your boat hook, broom, duster, or paddle shaft is outside these dimensions, look elsewhere.It isn't the best finished clamp I've seen, but it's functional. The owner of the super-yacht in the pictures certainly wouldn't want it onboard, but it's perfectly fine for a boat shed or garage.The dimensions are as follows.55mm height50mm base19mm width1mm thickness approx.
