According to the service schedule, the serpentine belt on my City Bug (a 2013 Citroën C1 with 31k miles) was overdue for changing which prompted the decision to buy a replacement. Having previously bought and fitted Contitech auxiliary belts to our other cars, and finding the correct replacement on Amazon, it was an easy purchase decision to make. The belt arrived within 48 hours of ordering, safely wrapped in pristine Continental packaging.After removing the car's front bumper panel and right hand side wheel arch liner, It was quickly fitted and tensioned; it was an exact replacement for the original factory fitted one. The only disappointment was that the belt was 'Made in China' according to the packaging. It seems a great shame that a well-regarded German brand chooses to source these products from a country with such an appalling human rights record that's run by a nasty authoritarian regime. Next time I'll buy Gates who make their products in Italy.
