This skirt is so pretty! The material is thin but offers full coverage. The ruffles are so endearing, and I love the way it swishes and flows as I walk. It's got a lot of stretch, and looks so flattering. Do I dance? No. Do I love this skirt? Yes!

This is a fantastic skirt great for everyday wear, dance, costume piece or pretty much anything else you could come up with. It fits to measurement and isn't too tight, it is well made and looks wonderful. I've always loved big wavy skirts like this. Brings out the Stevie Nicks in me ^_^

for $20, it's a fine skirt.But I'm a little stumped what kind of dance I'd actually wear this with. It's not a great looking fabric, so for stage use, I'd have to glam it up. The flare and the ornamentation of fabric bits aren't all that standard for belly dance, and I'm used to latin skirts being more tight fitting.It moves OK - the pictures of the flare are accurate, but you have to be really twirling to get that. Other than that, there's not a lot of movement.I'm 5'10", and currently a size 16 and this fit me fine. Because of my leg length, it hits about mid calf - but notice I'm quite tall. Also note that the liner inside is shorter.

I'm not a dancer, so I can't comment on how this works as a dance skirt. But I do like wearing skirts in general and I also play in a symphony orchestra, so I can say that for those purposes this skirt is super fun to wear. I like that it's very flowy and it moves so fluidly with you. I'm fairly short (5'3"), so this is quite long on me but not too long that I trip. It is very eye catching and it makes me feel so beautiful wearing it. The coverage is good as there's a few layers so you're never in any danger of exposing yourself on accident, but it isn't heavy whatsoever and very comfortable to wear. The fabric also seems to be of good quality as it feels sturdy yet soft. This has become one of my favorite skirts just to wear out.

I bought this for dance class but with its romantic bright red color I do keep having the urge to wear it out to dinner for date night with a nice top! It's just that pretty and I feel gorgeous and glamorous in it because of all the swoop and flounce. Lovely design and quite good value, in my opinion. But I had to give it four stars instead of five because of unclear labeling.This garment is 100% POLYESTER. The item description currently says it is a cotton/poly blend but that is definitely not the case, based both on feel and on the label that was sewn into the garment. What I received is a polyester skirt. Do not expect it to be a cotton blend, even though (at the time of this review) the item description says it will be 65% cotton. It is definitely 100% polyester.The item description also says "One Size" but the garment I received definitely has a label that says "L" so that is a bit confusing. I'm not upset about it and I love how it fits me, but if you're a very small dress size this could be a lot of fabric for you. At its smallest unstretched size, the elastic waistband of my skirt measures 24" around. So if you're smaller than that, or close to it and want a snug fit, this might not be for you.I am typically a size L (US dress size 12) and I'd say I'm the top edge of its comfortable size range. I wouldn't recommend it for a much larger woman than I am, but for a one-size-fits-all garment I am very impressed. It has great drape and movement!In terms of quality, I'm very satisfied. The edges are raw and unhemmed but with this type of netting cut on the bias I'm not worried about the material unraveling anytime soon. Obviously it's not going to become an heirloom garment for generations to come, but I would say the craftmanship is excellent for such an affordable price point.Strong light will show through it, so if you're in front of a powerful backlight people will be able to tell where you stop and the skirt starts. But with tights and a bodysuit underneath (always my dance uniform) I'm not concerned about modesty.I love wearing this because of all its flounce and movement. Honestly, it really exceeded my expectations for the affordable price.
