On ordering this I didn’t initially notice it was listed as a nursing maternity nightdress 🤣 although I won’t be needing to use it for that it still is a perfect nightdress for just sleeping.Upon opening the package the very first thing that struck me was just how butter-soft the fabric was. Forget all your fancy m&s cotton nightwear because this just feels beautiful.I can see a baby feeling very snug and settled if mum was wearing this during feeding 😊It’s not thin or that sweaty fabric either, it is just right.There is nothing worse than buying a nice nightdress which are becoming more expensive nowadays only for it to be see through.This is as thick as a nice quality T-shirt but very soft almost silk like against the skin. When you open it up it falls really nicely without a sign of creasing due to the quality and weight in the fabric.The size is bang on what I’d expect which is great but it also has some stretch to it which makes it very forgiving.Due to its button down front it’s easy for feeding obviously but perfect even if you’re not needing it for that no more.The cut on the neck line is nicely shaped with short sleeves perfect for hot sleepers & summer nights.Once closed it sits just high enough to not have to be concerned with revealing anything.The nightdress falls slightly A-line to the knee & has a pretty ruffle edging which is very flattering.I ordered the grey and it’s lovely.In my opinion I’d stop scrolling & give this product a try as I doubt you’ll be disappointed it’s great quality & very good value for money you can’t go wrong 😊

As my wife suspected there is not much that really that differentiates this maternity nightie to a non-maternity nightie other than the button neck fastening. It is therefore suitable for post-partum or non-pregnancy wear. The initial observation when taking it out of the packaging is how soft and silky the material is. This makes it incredibly comfortable next to the skin and conducive to sleep. Because of its stretch it allows easy movement in bed and the short-sleeved style should make it idea for those who prefer to be cooler in bed or during the warmer months. The material feels high quality and doesn't crease much, it could easily be used as loungewear especially if you have a new baby. Just throw a pair of shorts or leggings on and no one will know it's a nightie.

This nightie is quite fitted so I’m not very comfortable wearing it early on postpartum but it will be nice in a couple of months. Otherwise it’s a nice design, and I would wear this even when not breastfeeding. Not that anyone is going to see it!Buttons are easy to open and close although since I only throw it on late at night I’ve just left them open.It is quite pricey being made purely of polyester, you can get much cheaper alternatives, but it does have a soft feel to it and it’s really comfy to wear.
