As a boat owner, I recently replaced my old battery switch with the Blue Sea Systems 6006 M-Series switch, and I'm very impressed with its performance and build quality.Pros:Robust Construction: The ABS and copper materials feel solid and durable, giving me confidence that it can withstand the harsh marine environment.Make-Before-Break Contact: This feature is essential for preventing power interruptions when switching between battery banks, ensuring uninterrupted operation of critical electronics.Multiple Mounting Options: The versatile design allows for surface, front, or rear panel mounting, making it adaptable to different boat layouts.Easy Installation: The switch was straightforward to install, even for someone with limited electrical experience like myself. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.Reliable Performance: The switch operates smoothly and feels solid when turning it on or off. It has been working flawlessly since installation.Cons:Price: It's not the cheapest battery switch on the market, but the quality and features justify the investment for peace of mind and reliable performance.Limited to Single Circuit: This switch is designed for a single circuit, so if you need to control multiple circuits, you'll need to purchase additional switches.Overall:The Blue Sea Systems 6006 M-Series Battery Switch is a top-notch product that I would highly recommend to any boat owner. Its robust construction, reliable performance, and safety features make it an excellent choice for marine applications. Although it comes at a slightly higher price point, the peace of mind and long-term reliability it offers are well worth the investment.

If you're looking at this item it's probably because you're seeking a cheaper alternative to Blue Sea isolator switch. At the time of this review, this item is retailing for £24.99, which is a lot cheaper than the original this copies by Blue Sea.My initial impressions, the red ABS casing isn't the same red as Blue Sea, or others I've used, it's much darker. I've used the Blue Sea original switches on my campervan build, plus copies. This one is new to me, and from my review appears just as robustly made. I can't attest to the mechanism inside, but that's the same with all of them unless you brake it open, which I'm not going to do as its sealed. This one came in a box with no screws, or instructions.I've given it 5/5 due to representing good value, and it's quality. There's always going to be a question about it's capacity to perform as per the design it copies. It appears like for like so until proven otherwise it's a 5/5 from me.
