The double base was excellent for cooking one set while preparing the next.Only problem is that lid is a bit tight fitting. Needs trimming.

To be honest, I've only used this once. It was a disaster - my fault tho - I put the bacon in for too long and it was unbreakable when it came out! It's in the cupboard and I'm not sure if it's coming out again.

Best one we have had so far cooks bacon great & able to pour fat out of crisper easily. Would recommend

Microwave Bacon Rack: Blimey, this is quite a contraption on which to cook a bit of bacon but great for all that!It’s quite large Approx. 11” across the width from handle to handle and 9.5” in the other direction, so do make sure it fits your microwave before buying - it just fits mine and allows it to carousel, but there’s not much play. It has 4 layers lid, 2 racks and the base which, along with the lid, can be used for storing bacon once cooked and the silicone sheets that need to be placed in each rack before cooking.I actually think this is great, I really don’t like cooking bacon in the microwave as I think it gets tough and a bit stringy but this makes it, not only easy but also, really nicely cooked. You can vary the timings to control the level of crisp you require, it cooks streaky rasher as well as back bacon. I prefer thinner bacon and medium crisp so for about 6 rashers of streaky I give it 3 mins on 800w (full power on mine) and for back bacon about 3.5 mins for 4 rashers - perfect! The spouts in the rack also make it simple to tip off and grease.There is a very small metal screw in the handle of the lid, the instructions say this is ok for use in the microwave and it hasn’t caused any issues for me.While I love the smell of bacon cooking, I don’t like that it lingers for hours afterwards, but this contains the smell really well and it barely permeates the kitchen let alone the rest of the house. It’s not cheap at £21.99 but it’s well made and I’d say, worth the money for the ease of not getting out the frying pan or putting on the grill or oven. It all pops into the microwave or hot soapy water and cleans-up a treat. Quite impressive

Ich stand dem ganzen skeptisch gegenüber. Habe schon einiges ausprobiert.Es passt in jede Schale 7 Streifen Bacon. Habe die Enkeltochter eingeladen um beide Schalen gleichzeitig zu machen und sind mit knusprigen Bacon belohnt worden.Ich kann es nur empfehlen , da auch die Geruchsentwicklung moderat ist.In den Geschirrspüler würde ich den Deckel und das Unterteil nicht machen, da es sich leicht verzieht. Deswegen auch nur 4 Sterne.
