You have to take time to trim off the excess plastic that came off the plastic extruder, otherwise fitting won’t work correctly

These are very convenient to have around the shop, especially considering not all new fuel filters come with new clips. They fit tight and don't leak.

Had to replace the fuel pump in my 2018 Nissan Rogue. While the install went smoothly, the youtube video did warn me that the new fuel pumps do not come with the fuel line retaining clip so you'd have to use the old one...which I did. Unfortunately, since it is made up of cheap plastic, the retaining part of the clip didn't (retain, that is). My car died and fuel spilled all over the ground. Reconnected it, and it happened again. Checked on amazon and guess what...they have the retaining clips! After putting an actual new clip on, no more disconnections and/or leaks. I now keep the extras in my glove box!

replaced fuel pump on 05 tahoe, bought these to replace broken retainers. Only one of them actually clipped over the inside line. Most pushed on completely (no click heard) and then pulled off when I checked them. Go to the parts store and by the Dorman ones in the helps section
