I am finding it difficult to find staples that fit my stapler these days. It's almost 40 years old and I have recently finished my first box! I would have liked a longer staple but these will work for most of what I need to do.

Purchased as an alternative to the 12mm staples originally purchased for use with this tool but which are a little too long for some tasks. The 8mm version will be used for some less-demanding tasks where the thickness of material is less than sometimes encountered.Sold by the European Esselte group, these appear to be galvanised steel and of quite a thick guage. This size should be easily capable of binding up to 50 sheets of 80gsm paper, two or three thicknesses of stiff card or corrugated cardboard with the plier style of stapler. They are most often used to seal packages and cartons.
